Social Emotional Learning & Behavior Supports Coordinator

MSAD #53/Maine Central Institute MSAD #53/Maine Central Institute Pittsfield, ME Pittsfield, ME Full-time Full-time $40,800 - $70,184 a year $40,800 - $70,184 a year The Social Emotional Learning Coordinator will collaborate with administrators, school counselors, instructional coaches, and the school resource officer to establish proactive systems, practices, mindsets, and interventions, and partnerships with district families and the community, to develop and sustain student and staff well-being and improve school climate, leading to positive increases in academic, behavioral, and social emotional outcomes and attendance for students.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Education, Mental Health, Social Work, or related field; advanced degree is a plus; professional experience in Education, Mental Health, or related field preferred.
Preference will be given to applicants with exemplary track records as an innovative and experienced leaders who have effectively mentored and supported coworkers.
Salary is negotiable.
