Job Description:
The Contract Manager is responsible for developing and implementing integrated contract administration efforts for construction services. The Contract Manager provides contract assessments to management and serves as the authority for contract negotiation, administration, and mediation.
Job
Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and review of requests for proposals.
Determine and develop a suitable risk profile for construction services business.
Assist in negotiating agreements with subcontract service providers. Ensure compliance during program execution.
Provide training and advice to project teams on managing contract requirements.
Audit project team performance to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
Recognize, prepare and manage the resolution of contract disputes, claims and significant change orders.
Work with Project Team Member on issues related to contract administration.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in heavy industrial/civil and service contract administration.
Must possess and demonstrate excellent communication skills - both verbal and written with the ability to produce professional bid proposals and presentations.
Demonstrated ability to negotiate and mediate construction contracts.
Team oriented with a reputation for honesty and integrity.
An ability to shift easily between projects and priorities and to manage multiple deadlines.
Strong sense of urgency in the accurate completion of tasks.
Strong financial and business acumen with the knowledge of how to structure and close a business deal.
Understanding of critical contracts issues: indemnity, warranty, guaranty, performance guarantees and liquidated damages.
Bottom Line Requirements:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering preferred.

years of experience in heavy industrial/civil and service contract administration.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
